Benjamin Lussier entered the world of visual effects and broadcast design at age 18 while completing his studies in Cinema and Communication at Dawson College in Montreal. His credits include numerous shows and music videos like Cirque du Soleil’s LOVE, Damien Robitaille’s Je tombe and Matt Pokora’s Catch me if you can, as well as countless commercials and promos for Mega Blocks, Mc Donalds, Icebreakers and many more.

Fascinated by film production, Benjamin furthers his studies in lighting and film photography in 2006 and 2007.

A year later he founds Gonk Films. Benjamin oversees the undertaking of an ambitious short film aptly named The Diary. Acting as writer, director and producer, the experience garnered over the course of the production broadens his knowledge of filmmaking and adds finesse to his craft. In late 2008 he quits his post as creative director at Skuad Studios to pursue his filmmaking aspirations.
